Final Thoughts
I hope you all learned a little something about the extravagant fashions of the 16th and 17th century. I enjoyed researching just what all of these garments were about. However, I did find an interesting site that talks specifically about Queen Elizabeth 1, who was the one to influence the Elizabethean fashion time (1550-1603?). There was already so much information I wanted to talk about and still could get every single aspect that i wanted into my presentaion, so I thought this would be a little off topic from what my presentation was suppose to cover. I decided not to go into the information this site offered. It basically goes in depth about her costuming and the great amount of influence she had on English Fashion. It even gives surprising information about how her garments seemed to actually be "modest" compared to other royals. Here's the site:
